Since 2009 alternative rock band Highly Suspect have avoided following the rules. Their mix of progressive rock, grunge, blues, and electro-pop is unique. It’s earned them several Grammy Award nominations. Their single Lydia was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. Their November concert at TSB Arena promises to showcase their unique style.
Highly Suspect’s music has been described as a chemically imbalanced mix of gritty guitars, haunting piano, and off-kilter synths. Four of the five band members sing, leading to some strong vocals. This wild blend has transformed them into a phenomenon. They are loved by a diehard global fanbase known as “MCID” (My Crew Is Dope).
