Amber Joy Poulton and Lizzie Moore sing with microphones under a spotlight.

American country music singer and songwriter Loretta Lynn had a career spanning six decades. Her incredible life is celebrated in ‘Coal Miner’s Daughter’ at The Opera House in October. Audiences will be captivated by brilliant storytelling and performances.

Follow Loretta Lynn’s life from her early days in the hills of Kentucky to a tempestuous marriage, and massive music-world success. During her career, she nurtured enduring bonds with country and western stars. Among her friends were artists Patsy Cline, Conway Twitty, Tammy Wynette, Dolly Parton, and Willie Nelson. The performance will include songs from many of these icons. Hear I Fall To Pieces, You Ain’t Woman Enough To Take My Man, Crazy, Walkin’ After Midnight, Stand By Your Man, After The Fire Is Gone, and more.

Loretta Lynn was known for her bedazzled floor length gowns, and gravity-defying hair. Amber Joy Poulton, the singer playing her on stage, is sure to do her extravagant style justice. Joining her are Lizzie Moore (as Patsy Cline) and Denis Surmon (as Conway Twitty and Willie Nelson) along with band The Holy Men.
