About the trail

Bull Run is a single track through a secluded and protected part of Belmont Regional Park. Intermediate riders are in for a fun downhill route featuring small drop-offs and a few tight turns.

The final few hundred metres will see you gliding through a series of sweeping banks and challenging but non-threatening jumps.

The clay surface can get slippery when wet. Even in warm weather, the valley floor can take a few days to dry out.

The trail is primarily for mountain biking but walking is also allowed. Walkers must give way to downhill mountain bikers.

Getting there

Access the trail from the Old Coach Road entrance to Belmont Regional Park. Ride along Old Coach Road until you reach Bull Run on your left. The trail ends just above Hill Road. You can make a loop through the park via Hill Road and return to Old Coach Road.

Regular bus and train services are available. Timetables are available from Metlink .
