One of the most exciting discoveries of drum and bass (DnB) is returning to Wellington. Chart-topper and Brit Award nominee Goddard has been described as the next star in the highly competitive music genre. He combines DnB tempos with electronic melodies and inescapable hooks. His work is reminiscent of big industry names like Bonobo and Maribou State. After winning Best Newcomer at the 2022 DnB Awards, he collaborated with Venbee. Their track ‘Messy in Heaven’ reached number three in the UK singles chart. It has racked up streams in the tens of millions. 

Coming from Kettering in the English Midlands, Goddard went to his first rave at 16. He was immediately hooked, eventually moving to London and Manchester where he immersed himself in electronic music and production techniques. The 25-year-old’s success has seen him receive support from key figures in the world of DnB including Andy C, Sub Focus, and Sigma. Goddard’s headline show at Shed 6 will be supported by singer-songwriter Dada Jones and vocalist EJ Kitto.
