In the heart of Greytown, in the Wairarapa, Cobblestones Museum provides insight into the life of the area’s early settlers.

The working historical village showcases life in the 1800s and 1900s, surrounded by park-like grounds. There are authentic heritage buildings, gardens, stories, and artefacts.

Run almost entirely by volunteers, the museum takes its name from the cobblestone courtyard.

The church building and gardens can take bookings for weddings and other events. While the administration building is available to hire for seminars, workshops, or meetings.

With its picturesque backdrop, the museum is a popular setting for filming and photography.
