East Ridge Track is a shared walking and horse-riding track. The trail climbs to the top of Whareroa Farm and the Five Ways Lookout Point. On a clear day, the trail offers amazing views of Kapiti Island and the South Island.

The track begins from Farm Race Track, 3.5km north of Paekākāriki – look out for the signpost after the Dell. You can then use the Link Track or Connector to create a loop journey, returning via the Horse Track, Link Track, or Five Ways Track.
