About the trail

Bees 2 Bridge is a fast technical downhill trail that snakes its way through steep pine forest in Tunnel Gully. Look out for tricky switchbacks and berms that’ll slow your speed as you make your way down the natural 20% gradient.

Named after the beehives that previously lined the trail, this advanced course takes in spectacular views over the Hutt Valley and beyond.

If you have time to look up, you’ll see Mount Marua, Mangaroa Valley, Riverstone, Silverstream, and Dry Creek. On a clear day, you'll be able to see Mount Kaukau and Mākara.

This trail is mainly for mountain biking, but walking is also allowed.
