The NZSO’s reputation for artistic excellence attracts many of the world’s leading musicians, conductors, and soloists. In 2025 American mezzo-soprano and multi-Grammy Award winner Joyce DiDonato leads the star-studded international list. At 26, British saxophonist Jess Gillam is the youngest soloist to perform with the NZSO. Japanese conductor Masaaki Suzuki lends his skills to interpret Baroque works.
