Panhead Custom Ales, Boneface Brewing Co., Te Aro Brewing Co., and Wild Kiwi Distillery have set up shop to take advantage of the water source.
There are also excellent restaurant options on site. Don’t just settle for a tasting — sit down and enjoy the atmosphere. Each brewery has a restaurant offering. There’s also another restaurant, Fermented Bar and Eatery, and café, Get Fixed, on offer.

The Brewtown site is set up for public and private events. There are plenty of green spaces to invite visiting brewers and eateries onsite. Its annual BrewDay brings thousands of people to the region to taste the best new brews from some of Wellington’s top breweries. Music and other activities keep everyone entertained.
Completing the package is a 4,500 square metre entertainment complex. There’s mini golf, ice skating, paintball, ten-pin bowling, cart racing, axe-throwing, escape rooms, and a trampoline park. With options for large groups, kids, and individuals it’s easy to see how you could while away a whole day enjoying yourself.
Brewtown is the perfect place to spend an afternoon taste-testing the best the region has to offer. It’s just a short walk away from Upper Hutt train station making it an easy trip to and from Wellington city.
