Southern Cross Round the Bays

It doesn’t matter if you walk, run, or roll, Southern Cross Round the Bays is for you. The annual fun run series returns in February 2025. It’s designed to cater to all fitness levels so you can choose what suits you best. 

The 8.4-kilometre course begins on Wellington’s waterfront and winds its way around the bays to Kilbirnie Park. There’s also a 21-kilometre route for the more adventurous. Both routes will have entertainment along the way and the view will give you an injection of ‘vitamin sea’. 

Charity is at the heart of Southern Cross Round the Bays and this year is no different. The fun run occurs in Wellington, Auckland, and Christchurch. Together, the cities hope to raise $400,000 for worthy causes. Grab your friends, family, or workmates and get amongst the action. Raise some money, get fit, and celebrate when your team crosses the finishing line.
