A group of 25 dancers wearing colourful athletic wear perform on stage.

High-energy contemporary dance meets Rudyard Kipling’s most famous story. Over 300 performers will take to the stage to reenact ‘The Jungle Book’ in November. The production is brought to the stage by local dance studio Pump. It promises to be an uplifting experience for the whole family. Join Mowgli, Baloo, King Louie, and the rest of ‘The Jungle Book’ clan as their story is immortalised through hip-hop and contemporary jazz dance.

Pump was established in Wellington in 2001. Over the past two decades, the studio has introduced hundreds of children and adults to hip-hop. Their alumni have danced in Fringe Festivals, sports games, and on Disneyland stages.
