Seven musicians perform on The Park Stage at Jim Beam Homegrown, a New Zealand music festival on Wellington's waterfront to a packed audience.

Set across five stages along Wellington’s waterfront, Jim Beam Homegrown is the biggest celebration of Aotearoa’s music scene. The lineup of bands and DJs ranges from reggae, roots, and hip-hop, to rock, pop, electronic, and drum and bass. Each stage covers a different genre. Turn your weekend into an epic journey across the festival site and musical styles.

The 2025 event is the 18th year for Jim Beam Homegrown, and it’s celebrating in style. For the first time ever, the festival is expanding to two days. Kicking off on Friday night, genre-defying Synthony will headline the Park Stage. The show will start the weekend with a bang, combining live orchestral sound and electronic beats. Friday will also include performances from Stan Walker Lee Mvtthews, Ché-Fu & The Kratez + King Kapisi, and rising stars, Katayanagi Twins.

On Saturday, fans can see heavy hitters like Shapeshifter, Sir Dave Dobbyn, Kaylee Bell, Sons of Zion, Drax Project, Elemeno P, and Louis Baker. The event brings together the best of quintessential Kiwi music.

This year’s festival has plenty of fresh faces. Welcome in the next generation of homegrown talent with the likes of SUB-TRIBE, Halftime Oranges, EMILIE ft. Young Gho$t, Hyan and plenty more.

Alongside the stages, you get access to Wellington’s stunning waterfront. Sample delicious food, carnival rides, and a variety of interactive experiences. It’s the perfect way to send off summer.
