The Opera House
Spike Milligan has it covered when it comes to utterly loony and beloved children’s stories. His story ‘Badjelly the Witch’ has captivated generations of children. Now, the brilliantly nonsensical tale is being reimagined for the stage by Glow Show. ‘Badjelly the Witch — Glow Show’ incorporates giant glow-in-the-dark puppets to create a magical extravaganza. This year the Glow Show team is adding an after-show experience. You can get up close and personal with the creator and puppets on stage.
The adults in the audience will get a wonderful serving of nostalgia. The children will get to meet Binklebonk the tree goblin, Fluffybum the cat, and Lucy the cow for the first time. Not to mention Tim, Rose and, of course, Badjelly herself. Don’t miss out on a visit to Bare Bottom Land where you can yell “stinky poo to all of you!”
