Ngaumutawa, originally a Māori
, or settlement, is a suburb of Masterton, the largest city in the Wairarapa region. The grain store is located a 90-minute drive north of Wellington.Driving along the flat and straight Ngaumutawa Road provides views of green pastures on one side and industrial buildings on the other.
Located behind a chain-link fence, the grain store is an expansive facility. It features a large warehouse and extra storage sheds, grain silos, processing equipment, shipping containers, and wooden crates. It produces and supplies seeds and cereals for farming operations, pet owners, and home gardeners.
A railway line borders the property on its southern side.
