Maori Treasures
You will be welcomed into the private studios of a family of renowned Maori artists, just 20 minutes from Wellington City.
Discover a treasured Maori art tradition that spans three centuries and enjoy hands-on activities, demonstrations, exhibits and video. Tours run every weekday and there is a free minibus from the Wellington Visitor Centre departing Mon-Fri at 9:30am, 12noon and 2pm.
The Galleria Café offers delicious food and espresso surrounded by artworks. Authentic, quality Maori art and crafts are for sale in the Gallery Gift Store.
