East Harbour Regional Park
A backdrop to Eastbourne and Wainuiomata, East Harbour's sheltered valleys and sweeping bays offer bush clad retreats and exhilarating views over Wellington harbour and headlands. Tracks give access to the historic Pencarrow lighthouse, nationally significant freshwater wetlands and the coastal cliffs of Baring Head. Walk amongst superb native bush up to Lowry Trig and the Main Ridge, or to the sheltered picnic spots of Butterfly Creek.
