Fiona Hall is one of the most audacious, captivating and singular artists in the world today. Her exquisitely crafted sardine tins, that reveal aspects of human sexuality and botanical history are, by public vote, the most popular artworks on display at the National Gallery of Australia.
Fiona Hall: Force Field features photography, sculpture, installation and video works from the 1970s to the present, including a major body of new work made specifically for this exhibition. It is characterised by the inventiveness and curiosity that typifies Hall’s work.
